Boil: Great for chicken noodle soup! Place chicken in large bot and add water until chicken is covered. Cover pot and bring water to a boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for about 90 minutes.
Roast: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Remove chicken giblets, rinse, and pat chicken dry. Season as desired, coat with butter or oil, place in roasting pan, and roast for about 90 minutes.
